It is cold enough that snow sticks to the grassy areas, but the roads and concrete are just wet. Reminded me of a day, 25 years ago when I was driving my old '72 air cooled VW bug. Days like this the snow very wet, heavy, and slippery. We lived on a farm in northern Wisconsin back then, and I came up the driveway working that little VW bug for all it was worth, when I came upon a obstacle in the driveway. Yep, there it was, the parents Subaru brat was stuck. There was a smile on my face ear to ear as I went around the old man with his four wheel drive Subaru stuck in knee deep snow. Of course I did go back with a shovel and help once I got past him and to higher and drier ground. It wasn't like he hadn't done the same many times in the past when the tables were turned.PikeTalkhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14273173814670487203noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5462487654523787194.post-74769624780796782782008-01-26T11:12:00.000-07:002008-01-26T11:16:28.350-07:00Volkswagen will always be "the peoples car"Recently Tata Motors of India introduced it's car in the $2500 price range.

Company chairman Ratan Tata, who introduced the new car at India’s main auto show, has long promised a $2,500 “People’s Car” for India — a country of some 1.1 billion where only seven of every 1,000 people own a car.

Hmm, a Volks Wagen for India???PikeTalkhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14273173814670487203noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5462487654523787194.post-26844507431199829792008-01-06T12:06:00.000-07:002008-01-06T12:09:11.983-07:00Welcome to our updated VW Volkswagen PageWelcome to all VW Volkswagen enthusists.
